To supervise the accounts payable department and act as a liaison between vendors and Highland Farms.
This position is on-site Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision
Supervises the accounts payable department, monitors and assesses performance, directing the training and development of staff and carrying out disciplinary action.
Reviews accounts payable to ensure discounts and deals are taken
Develops, recommends and implements accounts payable procedures.
Accounting
Liaises with suppliers, prepares debit notes and follows up to ensure money is collected.
Responds to supplier inquiries, giving out information and resolving problems.
Monitors Accounts Receivables and follows up to ensure receipt of money.
Administration
Directs the off-site storage of files.
Distributes deal sheets and price lists to staff.
Other Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma in accounting preferred.
Knowledge of Accpac software
Knowledge of Sage Accounting software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
