Company: Virtek Vision is a provider of precision vision-based templating and inspection solutions serving customers in the aerospace, prefabricated construction, transportation, manufacturing and heavy equipment industries. Overview: As an integral member of the Finance team, reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, this role is a hands-on accounting role. The successful candidate must have solid communication, technology and analytical skills. This role is responsible for all account payable functions and related accounts, and will work with other Finance team members in the Virtek Waterloo office. Responsibilities:

• Processing all vendor invoices and employee expenses including data entry, payment selection, processing payments in banking system, filing completed packages.
• Interacting with internal staff and external suppliers to address concerns & resolve disputes relating to AP invoices.
• Using banking software to set up payments, create new templates and resolve exceptions.
• Vendor maintenance \xe2\x80\x93 set up new vendors, monitoring HST registration.
• Processing corporate credit card accounts.
• Working with internal departments to provide account assignment for purchases.
• Month end reconciliation for all accounts relating to AP, accrual liabilities and prepaid expense accounts.
• Assists with other general duties necessary during the day-to-day operations of the department.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Minimum of 1 year of college in Business or Accounting required

• Minimum 1 year of previous accounts payable experience
• Ability to use Windows applications: Word, Excel etc.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems is an asset; Epicor Kinetic and Salesforce preferred
• Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong team player with a commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service
