What You Bring To The Table
Previous AP experience ideally with:
Construction project accounting
Sage 100, including Sage Paperless AP
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel
Strong data entry skills - accuracy and speed
Experience working in a construction company with knowledge of the construction process and the environment is an asset
Highly organized and detail oriented
Self-starter, ability to work independently, and solutions focused
Strong written and verbal communication skills, using a professional manner and style
Positive mindset and can-do attitude
Friendly and professional demeanour, ability to work well with others
Ability to work in a fast-paced, lively, and bustling office (it can get loud at times!)
Strong work ethic
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

What the Accounts Payable Coordinator Will Be Doing
Manage the AP email inbox
Enter/index vendor and subcontractor invoices into Sage Paperless system
Post invoices/costs to the correct job
Post administrative/overhead costs accurately
Reconcile vendor statements, and follow up on any missing invoices
Assist with preparing vendor/subcontractor payments
Credit card receipt follow-up and reconciliation
Check vendors/subcontractors for GST and WCB compliance
Other tasks as assigned
