Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Accounts Payable Clerk role.

Role Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices and payments in a timely manner, developing vendor relationships, and reconciling vendor accounts.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

Verify and send invoices for approval through Metaviewer Code proper accounts on invoices and ensure appropriate back up is attached Process manual cheque runs, EFT, ACH and Wire payments for vendors Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers in a professional, cooperative and efficient manner Reconcile vendor statements Other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk Proficient with spreadsheet and word processor applications Knowledge of Metaviewer and Great Plains is an asset Strong, demonstrated organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Hours of Work & Location
