  • Efficiently reviewing, verifying, and entering accounts payable invoices with complete accuracy.
  • General filing of invoices with matching tickets, purchase orders, and packing slips.
  • Working with the project managers and other staff to ensure all aspects of AP run efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with suppliers on invoicing-related issues.
  • Managing weekly payment schedule and preparing EFT remittances and cheques.
  • Evaluating and improving current processes and standards.
  • Additional office and bookkeeping duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in accounting or commerce from an accredited college/university.
  • 1 year of accounting experience (great opportunity for new grads).
  • General bookkeeping knowledge with exposure to intercompany transactions.
  • A motivated, self-starter; able to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel is a must).
  • Exceptional organizational skills for both hard copies and digital filing.
  • Attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This position will require the successful candidate to work 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with extra hours as needed. WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
