Accounts Payable Position

We are looking for a full cycle Accounts Payable person. This is a permanent, fulltime position.

Island Floor Centre is the largest floor covering store on Vancouver Island. We provide commercial and residential flooring sales and installation all over the Island and have been in business for over 35 years.

With a recently renovated showroom and offices we have a very dynamic environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Create and maintain vendor master files on the computer

Matching invoices to packing slips

Coding and entering invoices into our industry specific computer system

Reconciling vendor accounts

Processing payments either electronically or by cheque

Perform other duties as assigned including support functions for the Finance Team

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1-3 years prior Accounts Payable experience.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience with a flooring or construction company, an asset but not required.

Additional Notes

Hours Required: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
