As the Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for processing passenger claims and payments in accordance to company policy. What You?ll Do:

• Review, Enter and post customer refunds request in Great plains and Process payments (EFT, Cheque, Wire)
• Review all refunds request/invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Communicate with Vendors/Customers and reconcile discrepancies
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with policy and accepted accounting practices
• Record all cheques, EFTs, credit card payments and wire transfers. Prepare for mailing and maintain filing of accounts payable
• Audit and process credit card statements
• Verify transactions to comply with financial policies and procedures
• Manage and distribute incoming e-mails
• Other duties and projects as requested

What You?ll Need:

• Minimum 1 year experience in accounts payable.
• Fast learner and ability to lead the team when needed.
• Excellent computer skills & MS office along with experience in accounting packages
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
• Good communication skills both in oral and written form
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as an active team member
• Demonstrate sound work ethics complimented with flexible work attitude
