Aqua-Coast Engineering is looking for an Accounts Payable clerk, with payroll and bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Receivable, possess excellent organizational and attention to detail skills, and has used Sage accounting software.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable: including processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, coding expenses, and ensuring timely payments
maintain positive relationship with suppliers
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including expense reports
Assist with remitting various government documents such as Payroll taxes, GST, WCB, and other statutory filings as required
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
Support the finance department in month-end and year-end close processes
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable clerk and bookkeeper or similar role.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy along with problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
