Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Oakville, Ontario. In this role, you will handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure accuracy in managing payments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and proficiency in SAP systems.
Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile a high volume of vendor invoices with precision and efficiency.
• Address and resolve invoice-related discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
• Manage coding and data entry for invoices while adhering to company policies.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure accurate handling of bill of materials and multi-line items.
• Utilize SAP, including S/4HANA and Vendor Invoice Management, to streamline accounts payable processes.
• Maintain and update master data records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and invoice queries.
• Provide support in account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Assist in other accounts payable duties as required in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP systems, including S/4HANA and Vendor Invoice Management.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.
• Experience working with bill of materials and multi-line invoice items.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and resolve issues.
• Familiarity with master data management and manufacturing or assembly environments is an asset.
