:We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the mutual fund industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is crucial for our financial operations, involving the processing of payables, and providing administrative and clerical support within our team.Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of vendor payments and employee expense reimbursement claims.

• Verification and reconciliation of invoices, credit memos, or other requests.

• Timely recording of expenses, purchases, and reimbursement claims to appropriate accounts and cost centers.

• Detail oriented correspondence with vendors and employees to answer queries and resolve disputes.

• Preparation of funds transfers, including wires, ACH, EFTs, and checks.

• Issuance of stop-payments or similar actions as needed.

• Assistance with day-to-day banking activities, including bank deposits and uploading of positive pay files.

• Maintenance of historical records by filing documents electronically and physically.

• Continuous improvement of the payment process.

• Providing support to the Finance team and management.

• Execution of other tasks as assigned by the team.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
• Prior experience working in the mutual fund industry
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrated ability to perform Check Runs
• Experience in Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Proficient in Invoice Processing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software
