Accounts Payable Clerk
at our Head Office, in Maple Ridge.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the
Accounts Payable Clerk
will assist the PMP team by efficiently organizing and entering all day-to-day accounts payable information into the accounting system for the group of companies. This is a long-term, office-based, full-time employment opportunity.

Specifically, the Accounts Payable clerk will...
Organize and enter all assigned accounts payable, PO and Non-PO.
Collect invoices and ensure proper cost coding, taxes and approvals.
Assist the purchasing department with invoice reconciliation.
Process credit applications.
Coding of monthly corporate bills.
Follow up internally and externally on invoicing issues.
Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable Discrepancies between POs and AP invoices.
Statement, credit card and purchase order reconciliation.
Scheduling and preparing disbursements.
Coding of corporate cell phone and company gas card bills.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
Assist with other bookkeeping functions as required.
Other duties as required.
Filing as necessary.

Education and Experience
A minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in a fast-paced, demanding office environment; familiar with bookkeeping, data entry & office administration
Formal education in accounting/bookkeeping is preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset
Work Conditions
PMP employees work a standard 40-hour work week, but hours of work may vary based on business requirements from time to time.
This is a full-time, office-based position.
Compensation:
$55,000 to $70,000/year + 5% RRSP + 100% Company-Paid Health & Dental Benefits + Life Insurance + LTD + AD&D benefits.
