Accounts Payable Clerk

to oversee AP processes, ensure accuracy, and provide leadership within the AP function.

Position Summary



The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the AP cycle across multiple entities. This role goes beyond invoice entry: it includes reconciling vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies, managing intercompany payables, and acting as the first point of escalation for AP issues.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volumes.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the full accounts payable cycle for multiple entities, including invoice processing, coding, and payment runs. Perform vendor reconciliations regularly and resolve discrepancies directly with suppliers. Monitor AP aging and ensure overdue items are escalated appropriately. Manage intercompany billing entries and reconciliations. Support month-end close through accruals, reconciliations, and reporting. Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Controller to improve AP processes and controls. Maintain accurate and organized AP documentation in

to standardize procedures. Act as the

first point of contact for AP-related issues

, providing guidance to other accounting staff when needed.

Qualifications



3-5+ years of accounts payable experience; multi-entity or high-volume environment strongly preferred. Strong reconciliation skills with proven ability to resolve vendor discrepancies. Proficiency with accounting software;

NetSuite experience highly valued

. Advanced Excel skills (reconciliations, pivot tables, reporting). Knowledge of Canadian GST/PST and vendor compliance requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal collaboration. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
