Job Description


:We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Guelph, Ontario. The successful candidate will be tasked with handling full-cycle accounts payable activities, ensuring the accuracy of invoices, and maintaining effective communication with internal departments.Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process customer credit applications
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and code them into the General Ledger
  • Conduct batch payments and engage in month-end reconciliations
  • Handle credit card reconciliations for employee expenses and obtain necessary approvals from department managers
  • Manage received invoices, primarily via email, with some manual processes
  • Code invoices to projects or departments, maintaining effective communication with internal contacts
  • Conduct check runs and EFT payments
  • Utilize Dynamics 365 for various tasks
  • Work effectively within a small team setting
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
  • Ability to perform Check Runs efficiently
  • Skilled in Coding Invoices
  • Excellent Data Entry skills
  • Experience in Invoice Processing
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred
