The Canadian Brewhouse opened its first restaurant in 2001, in Edmonton, Alberta. By adding awesome talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we\xe2\x80\x99ve grown to 42 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 3 Banquet Bars (second restaurant concept), and 40 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries.The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks for multiple entities, with an emphasis on accounts payable. The successful candidate will have some experience with accounting systems and data entry. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a desire to collaborate and assist other members within the organization.Key Accountabilities:

• Accurate and timely coding of vendor invoices to the correct general ledger accounts in the accounting system
• Collaborate with Accounting Technicians to ensure discrepancies are resolved
• Support the accounting department with routine tasks
• Other special projects and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-Secondary in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset
• Minimum one (1) year of progressive accounting and financial experience, or equivalent

Skills:

• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and has the ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-oriented attitude
• Experience with Microsoft NAV would be an asset
