Our Finance group in St. John\'s, NL is now looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

What will you be doing?

• Process, code, and post Vendor invoices into accounting software system
• Monitor and maintain Electronic Invoicing processes.
• Review monthly vendor statements for accuracy.
• Process misc. payment requests (expense claims, donations, etc.) as required.
• Research and follow-up on invoices when appropriate.
• Reconcile direct debit payments against invoices.
• Complete weekly payments through online banking processes; ensure all payment deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain accounts payable files in compliance with audit requirements and office standards.
• Working closely with Financial Lead and Lead Cost Accountant, ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable and the general efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process.
• Complete additional functions as requested by Finance Lead.
• Other duties as assigned by Finance Lead or Department Manager.

We think you should have:

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years experience in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• SAP experience an asset
