Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for accounting, timekeeping and payable duties. As an

Accounting Clerk

at Arcfield Canada Corp. you will perform an essential function collaborating with other departments and vendors to ensure effective, efficient and accurate data review and entry. This includes processing and monitoring payments and related reports, timesheet processing, accounting entries and reconciliations. The successful candidate will be highly detailed, patient, a team player and self-starter ready to work to meet the company's deadlines.

Areas of Responsibility:

Full cycle accounts payable processing include:
o Purchase order invoices

o Invoice coding

o Expense reports

o Approval of routing

o Data entry

o Payment processing

o Payment verification

o Gathering invoices for billing reports

Lead on vendor relationships including enquiries and disputes Calculating and entering various journal entries Work with accounts receivable on ad hoc clearing entries Collaborate with the purchasing team on inventory related entries Assist with timekeeping process Prepare and investigate discrepancies on account reconciliations Other duties as assigned Positive "can-do" attitude looking to improve the "why" and "how" we do things

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma 2-5 years accounting experience including payables and junior accounting functions Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs, with a focus on Excel Strong organization and time management skills Team player A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to collaborate to carry out goals

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:

Aerospace or other regulated purchasing and/or knowledge of the transport industry (air/rail/ship/etc.) Worked with Accounting and/or Contracts departments. Accounting diploma Prior experience in purchase order entries
