Job Description

Since 1975, Hayworth Equipment Sales has offered brand name heavy trucks and trailers to the trucking industry. We are a busy Heavy Trailer Dealership with a Parts & Service Centre open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for our company located in Acheson Industrial Area.

Preference will be given to someone with more than 3 years of accounts payable experience using Great Plains Dynamics or a similar accounting program.

What you Bring:

Minimum of 3 plus years of accounts payable and knowledge of the full accounting cycle. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP Accounting software or similar accounting program Excellent Computer Skills including MS Office Suite and maintain electronic and paper files Adept with PDF files - saving, combining, etc Ability to operate in high traffic retail environment such as a dealership Flexible to change, able to multi-task, strong problem solving Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills; and ability to ask questions Ability to document your own processes and procedures A stable work history and solid work ethic A positive attitude and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
Your Key Responsibilities:

Scanning, saving and filing electronic files Batching and entering all vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable system Ensuring required backup is included with invoice (PO, accurate coding and authorization;) Working closely with parts staff to ensure inventory and invoicing match correctly Maintaining, documenting and post inventory returns Setting up new vendors and maintain existing vendor files Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements to related transaction Responding and communicating with vendor inquires Preparing and performing cheque runs and bill payments Assisting with month end procedures Maintaining and updating AP Manual Working closely with Accounts Receivables daily and monthly Administration duties related to projects Reception backup - greet and assist customers, answer telephone, CVIP Assist with annual inventory count

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
