Accounts Payable Administrator

Job Description

Reporting to the Controller, the

Accounts Payable Administrator

works within a high volume accounts payable department.

Responsibilities include:

Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment Date entry of all incoming invoices Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms Assist with weekly AP run Respond to all vendor inquiries Back up and support other members of the accounting department Complete the mail run daily Code, reconcile and enter vendor invoices to QuickBooks accurately Assist with processing vendor payments Maintain vendor files Reconcile credit card receipts with statements Process employee expense reports Process adjustments Communicating with customers via phone, email or personally Assist accounting team members where required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications



2-5 years of accounts payable and receivable experience Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel Knowledge of accounting, office administration and procedures Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities A proactive, open, and effective communication style Strong problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and be self-motivate The ability to be flexible with work demands and priorities Good analytical skills, multitasking and computer skills Ability to work with all levels of the organization with high levels of integrity, tact and maturity
