What can you expect?
The Accounts Payable & Accounting Assistant will assist the Accounts Payable & Purchasing Administrator in successfully executing the Accounts Payable & Purchasing function, as well as support Day Audit and other Accounting functions.
This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:
Assisting in the execution of the Accounts Payable & Purchasing function, including:
Purchase order and disbursement requisition review and processing.
Completing credit applications.
Printing vouchers and maintaining the voucher log.
Processing employee expense reports.
Reconciliation of vendor accounts, including investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
Maintaining the purchasing email inbox.
Maintaining the accounts payable filing system and scanning.
Sorting incoming mail and mailing completed cheque runs.
Entering invoices into the accounting system.
Assisting with other accounts payable tasks as required.
Assisting with the Day Audit and other Accounting functions as required, including:
Assisting with the day audit filing.
Assisting with other reporting and/or data entry tasks as required.
Other duties may be requested and assigned periodically.
