Stock & Broth is a locally owned business in the heart of Sault Ste. Marie, committed to quality, community, and growth. As we expand, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our team and help manage our financial processes with integrity and efficiency.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

Review and reconcile ordering sheets, bills, and vendor payments Monitor cash flow, track payables and receivables Oversee and audit daily and monthly sales reports Manage bi-weekly payroll, ensure timely and accurate submissions Assist in preparing financial statements and tax documentation Perform inventory cost tracking and liaise with suppliers as needed Support the development and implementation of business strategies Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal financial regulations Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-3 years of relevant accounting or financial management experience Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, or similar) Strong understanding of payroll systems, sales tax, and audit practices Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Assets:

Experience working in the hospitality or food service industry is an asset Familiarity with POS systems and integration with accounting platforms Prior involvement in business planning or budgeting processes A passion for local business and community engagement
