About the Role



We are seeking someone to join our growing events business, and we're bringing our accounting and administration function

in-house

. This is a key role working directly with the business owner to support day-to-day financial and administrative operations.

You'll be taking over responsibilities currently handled by an external team at another location.

Full training and handover will be provided

, so while experience is important, you don't need to have done things our way before -- just be organized, accurate, and willing to learn.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, ownership, and being an integral part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities



Accurate

data entry

across accounting and business systems Processing

accounts payable and accounts receivable

Creating and issuing

customer invoices

Managing

bill payments

and supplier records

Payroll processing

and related reporting Preparing and filing

GST and PST

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Generating regular

financial and operational reports

Maintaining organized financial records and documentation Supporting general

administration and office operations

Working closely with the owner to ensure financial processes run smoothly

Training & Support



Structured handover and training from our existing accounting team at another location Ongoing support as we transition the role fully in-house Opportunity to help improve and streamline internal processes over time

About You



Experience in

accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration

Comfortable with payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and tax filings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Confident with accounting software and spreadsheets Organized, reliable, and able to manage deadlines Comfortable working in a

small business environment

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
