Accounting/Payroll Coordinator

QTest Inspection is actively seeking a professional Accounting/Payroll Coordinator in our Calgary office. This key role involves accounting activities that include the support of forecast and budget activities, year-end audit preparation, financial reporting, and general ledger preparation and payroll experience.

The Accounting/Payroll Coordinator will be responsible to track and evaluate day-to-day activities, bank reconciliations, collections, analyzing, verifying and reporting information while working closely with the financial management team.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Oversight

Lead the accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and tax compliance Manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and forecasting, providing strategic insights to the leadership team Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls to support business growth and compliance with tax regulations Process employee payroll efficiently and ensure all statutory deductions are accurate and timely Support the financial management team with year-end financial processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years in accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Ceridian, Sage 50, and Aimsio an asset Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and payroll processes Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills A detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in financial records and office operations Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proactive, problem-solving approach Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
Job Type: Full-time Salary position

Schedule:

8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Pay: $50,000 per year

Start Date: Immediately
