Job Description

We are looking for a self-starter, highly motivated, energetic, and Knowledgeable Person for the position of Accounting Technician.

Must have the following: hands on experience with Opera PMS system for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, ability to speak and understand fluent English. Live in Saskatoon or surrounding area, provide your own transportation to and from work. Experience in a Hotel/Hospitality industry would be a great asset.

This position is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 5 days per week to be discussed.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Daily deposits & Cash recording.

- Working in Opera Cloud PMS for Accounts Receivable.

- Collection of Invoice Payments

- Posting payments of cheques and EFT's

- Petty cash control and reconciliation

- Key attributes for this position include:

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

- Proficient in Opera PMS.

- Accounts Payable -Sage 50

- Strong organizational skills.

- Excellent written and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and must have a very strong work ethic.

- Ability to create great working relationships at all levels with both internal and external customers.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic/changing environment. Self motivated, organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
