One of our long-standing clients-a reputable company specializing in manufacturing and repairs of electric appliances-is looking for an Accounting Technician to join their collaborative and inclusive team on a full-time, on-site basis in Pointe-Claire!

Other Language Requirement: English
- Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
- Reasons for Language Requirement: Communications with suppliers across Canada
- Frequency of Use: Daily (for various tasks)
Experience & Skills:
- Strong proficiency in French
- Minimum of two years of work experience in full-cycle accounts payables and receivables
- AEX or DEC in accounting
- Knowledge of Office and accounting software
Your Day-to-Day:
- Manage accounts receivable, including collections, deposits, and related journal entries
- Handle accounts payable: process invoices, issue payments, and verify order details, pricing, and taxes
- Maintain and restock office supplies (e.g., stationery, kitchen items) based on inventory needs
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Assist the controller with daily accounting operations and reporting
- Communicate with clients via email and phone to resolve inquiries
- Monitor and track purchase orders and payment statuses
- Carry out additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed
