JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Technician plays a key role in supporting the daily financial operations related to sales auditing and inventory reconciliation across multiple retail locations. This position is responsible for performing bank reconciliations, monitoring third-party payments, assisting stores with daily closings, and auditing refunds and discounts. The technician ensures data accuracy by reviewing transaction statuses and provides timely reporting to Operations. They also contribute to team objectives and process improvements within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank Reconciliations with multiple locations & transactions Daily communication with retail locations to assist with daily closings Monitoring of 3rd party payments Review the status of data flow (Posted/unposted) Weekly Refund & discount audits At hoc reporting to Operations Support other team members in achieving the group's goals Respect the health and safety measures put in place Carry out the necessary activities while respecting the policies, work procedures, training, norms, and established standards Assist their superior and colleagues in carrying out all of their activities, when required Perform any other related tasks and in other departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

DEC in Accounting or equivalent job experience (2-5 years) Fluent in both English and French Working knowledge of the Inventory Module in Great Plains (ERP system) Medium to high proficiency in Excel and Outlook Retail knowledge (an asset)
