Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Gross Margins, on a full-time temporary basis with our Retail Accounting team (term up to 12 months).


This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you'll do:

Audit Co-op inventory packages to assess gross margin calculations for accuracy and consistency. Investigate irregularities and provide guidance to General Managers and department leaders, including recommendations for procedural or system improvements Review JDE RREC output to identify miscoding or processing errors and recommend corrections Liaise with FCL vendors to verify the accuracy of direct ship billing. Other duties as required .

The Team:

You'll join a collaborative accounting team of 35, reporting to the Retail Accounting Supervisor and working with peers across the Co-operative Retailing System to resolve discrepancies and support margin accuracy. The team fosters a culture of excellence through open communication and strong collaboration.

Have a high school diploma, two progressive accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and a minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience. Candidates with a high school diploma, four progressive accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution, and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
