Are you are looking for new opportunities and you want to be a part of an amazing team? We\'d love to hear from you! The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and energetic Accounting Technician/Bookkeeper to join our team on a FULL-TIME basis, Monday to Friday. Mandatory Requirements and Skills
- 5+ years full-cycle bookkeeping experience using Sage and QuickBooks
- Experience handling multiple companies
- Proficient with all account reconciliation procedures and GST/HST responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a paperless environment using electronic documents in various Cloud storage applications, (ie PDFs in GDrive, Dropbox, Sharepoint)
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Process invoices and post accounts payables
- Reconcile accounts
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Post journal entries
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Count and maintain inventory list
