We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties, including preparing monthly KPI reports, assisting with month-end closing activities, managing accounts payable, and providing essential financial reports to senior-level managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Job duties include:

  • Prepare monthly KPI reports for all events.
  • Assisting the VP of Commercial Operations with Month-end closing \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare Journal Entries/accruals for events occurred
  • Prepare commission reports
  • Keeps accurate records of accounts payable, ensuring that invoices are paid where necessary, manage payment schedule
  • Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers, including weekly ticketing reports etc
  • Handle general ledger bookkeeping where necessary
  • Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
  • Assist with accounting support onsite at events
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of general accounting experience
  • Associate or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Experience with SAP, Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data
  • Outstanding math and research skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with 10-key typing and data entry
  • Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability
Additional Information
  • The salary for this role is $50,700 - $62,400 depending on experience
