Position: Accounting & Order Desk Clerk
Pay Rate: $21-$23 per hour
Status: Temporary to Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Location: Near Dundas St & Clarke Rd
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting & Order Desk Clerk. This role combines accounting support, order entry, and general customer service responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile Accounts Payable transactions accurately and on time
- Assist with basic accounting and data entry tasks
- Handle customer orders, including order entry, follow-up, and coordination with internal departments
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and service-oriented manner
- Maintain and update records, reports, and general office documentation
- Provide administrative and clerical support as needed
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting function
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Customer service or order desk experience is an asset
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
