Job Description


Our client in the SE industrial area of Calgary is looking for an experienced Office Manager to help run their office through a range of administrative and financial tasks. Responsibilities;

  • Answer phone calls and email queries
  • Receive, sort, distribute, and send daily mail and couriers
  • Manage office inventory such as stationery, business cards, and equipment
  • Create spreadsheets in Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents
  • Create and send invoices and statements to customers
  • Verify accuracy of data input
  • Track job orders and payments and ensure appropriate cash flow into the company
  • Rectify billing errors, report any issues or regularities
  • Respond to account queries from clients
  • Receive invoices, validate, and generate payments
  • Handle printing and photocopying requests
  • Coordinate travel and lunches as needed
  • Support other administrative functions as required
Requirements;
  • Must have minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 clerical office or administration experience
  • Previous experience in invoicing or general accounting is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a shop environment is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self motivated and able to work independently as well as within a small team
  • Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Flexible to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change
  • Works well under pressure and within tight deadlines
