Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accounting Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities



Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate employee compensation. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining accurate financial records. Conduct account reconciliations and analysis to support financial reporting. Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary data and insights. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for various HR-related tasks. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Maintain employee records and assist in the onboarding process for new hires. Provide support in the development of HR policies, procedures, and program

Qualifications



Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks or similar applications. Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, account reconciliation, and account analysis is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments. Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
