Job Description
Our client, a highly esteemed Vancouver law firm, is actively seeking a professional and career-minded Accounting Manager to join their management team. This company employs some of the most dynamic, passionate and professional individuals you'll ever meet; people who truly love what they do and care about the organization. As the chosen candidate, you will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, an eye for detail, as well as excellent communication skills.
Job responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- General accounting and tax duties.
- Manage and provide leadership to the firm on financial issues.
- Work with partnership to create strategic plans for firm.
- Manage and mentor accounting team
- Prepare financial reports and projections
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in accounting paired with previous management experience.
- Accountant designation (CPA or CA preferred).
- Experience in a professional services environment such as engineering, law or accounting will be considered a strong asset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
