We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This 3 month contract position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee comprehensive accounting processes and contribute to financial reporting and compliance efforts. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple entities.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports to support informed business decisions.

• Record accurate journal entries in NetSuite to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Handle Canadian and U.S. sales and use tax filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Manage financial data across multiple entities, including recording transactions and generating related reports.

• Support the consolidation of financial information across entities for unified reporting.

• Oversee intercompany transactions by recording, reconciling, and monitoring data to ensure accuracy.

• Conduct variance analyses to identify discrepancies and draft commentary on findings.

• Collaborate with the FP& A team to align accounting processes with broader financial planning strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

• Proficiency in full-cycle accounting functions and accounts payable processes.

• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite and its functionalities.

• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.

• Strong ability to work with Excel, including creating and analyzing formulas.

• Proven expertise in preparing financial statements and reports.

• Experience managing multi-entity operations and intercompany transactions.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address variances in financial data.
