Baker Tilly will help you achieve more than was thought possible.Your primary responsibilities will include:Your primary responsibilities will include:Lead in the completion of multiple engagements for a variety of clients
Participate in consulting engagements or special assignments and identify client service opportunities
Supervise, develop and lead junior staff
Identifying and cultivating new sales and/or client service opportunities
Complete corporate and personal income tax returns
Compiling feedback on staff performance throughout the year and conducting regular performance reviews
Leading practice and professional development initiatives
Communicate directly with clientsA successful candidate will have:

• CPA designation
• Multiple years of accounting experience
• Experience working in public practice accounting
• A solid foundation of accounting and assurance education with experience executing Audit, Notice to Reader and Review engagements
• Experience preparing tax returns. Corporate, Personal, Trust; as well as T4s and T5s
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor and develop others to build high performing teams
• Experience supervising staff on multiple engagements
• Experience with Caseware, Profile, Sage 300 (ACCPAC), Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) and QuickBooks is valued
• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly MS Excel
• Project management skills
• Business development skills are an asset
