Ltd. (70%) and Luxus Vacation Properties US LP (30%). Your day will involve overseeing the preparation of financial reports, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of budgets and cash flow. You\'ll work closely with external auditors and tax advisors, and have the responsibility of implementing and improving accounting policies. You will refine financial processes, ensure compliance, and provide high-quality reporting. Ltd.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the preparation and review of all financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports, and prepare variance analysis
  • Overall management of the accounting team, maintaining strict oversight to ensure all financial operations meet deadlines and compliance standards.
  • Review and approve journal entries, manage the general ledger, and oversee cash balances and reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Prepare the working papers for tax returns and various regulatory requirements in Canada and USA
  • Assist the SVP for ad hoc reporting to stakeholders
  • Hiring, coaching and performance evaluation of accounting team members
  • Lead team on special projects
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies, driving improvements in internal controls and business processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CPA designation required, with at least two years of experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in real estate property accounting is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Sage or other real estate accounting software is a plus.
  • Confidence that you can engage with, demonstrate and live the Luxus Core Values daily.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Annual Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience and achievementBenefits:
