Accounting Manager
to join our team. This is a permanent opportunity where you will be working on various engagements relating to our small to mid-sized owner managed clients. Our firm has a great learning environment with a broad range of client industries and engagements.

Although, limited additional time may be required during February- April, depending on workflow, this additional time results in a 4 day work week in July & August (Fridays off).

Working closely with the firm's partners, managers and other team members, your primary responsibilities will include:
Corporate, personal & trust tax return review & preparation;
. Review monthly/quarterly bookkeeping;
Assist in managing the engagement process including planning, execution, and finalization, including continuous communication with the team and clients regarding deadlines and deliverables;
. Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to continually improve client deliverables and work processes;
. Build trust and maintain relationships with clients;
Assist with general business, accounting & tax advisory to clients.
The successful candidate will have:
. Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation;
. 4+ years experience in a Canadian pubic accounting firm working with small to mid-size owner managed businesses;
. Great organizational & time management skills and attention to detail;
. Experience with Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Excel and tax preparation software experience would be considered an asset;
Start date is flexible.
