Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and receivable for catering operations Process invoices, payments, and maintain accurate transaction records Reconcile GST and ensure compliance with tax regulations Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prepare and submit industry-specific reports (e.g., event revenue, catering sales) Assist with year-end financial reporting and adjustments Collaborate with management to support business growth and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally in catering, hospitality, or food services Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations Meticulous, organized, and deadline-driven Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bookkeeping or accounting certification is an asset
