Preparation of financial statements, reporting packages and working papers
Preparation of project cost reports, job cost reports and monthly progress billings
Accounts Receivable, prepare monthly billings, review selected accounts and assist with collections
Accounts Payable and payment functions
Process payroll, WSIB and EHT remittances
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare operating and job budgets
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Preparation of HST returns for various companies
Preparation of year end files
Qualifications:
Post-secondary certification in accounting
Minimum five years recent accounting experience
Accurate and detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Excellent organization and communication skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Experience with integrated accounting systems is an asset
Experience with accounting in a retirement home setting is an asset
Start date at earliest convenience with compensation to commensurate with experience.
