Our client, a leading global organization in the manufacturing industry that is renowned for innovation and excellence in production, is seeking an Accounting Manager.Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting activities at the local manufacturing plant. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the plant\'s financial health. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, and the ability to lead a team effectively.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance the plant\'s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, produce financial reports or statements, and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure professional growth and excellence.
- Collaborate with plant management and global finance teams to support business objectives and financial planning.Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
