Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager - Land Division, the
Accounting Manager - Land Division
is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports and documentation to support corporate decision-making and public company reporting requirements.
This permanent full-time position works closely and interacts regularly with both our Land Operations Team and our Finance & Accounting Team.
What You'll Do
Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and documents for projects and joint ventures, supporting both the corporate and regional offices.
Coordinate department budgets and cash flows annually and semi-annually in addition to providing monthly budget to actual reports.
Maintain internal control policies and procedures related to the Land Division; inclusive of reviewing and signing related documentation, cheques, reconciliations and contractual agreements/obligations.
Assist with financing arrangements for the Land Division, including monthly preparation of packages to support our credit facilities and/or project financing loans as required.
Provide the Manager of Financial Reporting with information required for the external audit team. Respond to audit enquiries as requested during the quarterly review and year end audit processes.
Support the Accounts Payable function by providing coverage when needed.
About You
You have 5-10 years accounting experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Ability to build strong working relations with colleagues in-person and at our regional offices, and able to operate in a team environment.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to change as the business grows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound business judgement.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Extra Points For
CA/CPA with experience working in public practice at an accounting firm.

Reflex ERP Software Experience.
