Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of 3 administrators, driving accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Direct the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including workflow prioritization and development of internal controls
Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including A/P, A/R, billing, inventory accounting, gl reconciliations, and month/year end close
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports that clear financial insights and reporting to support leadership decision-making
Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, including timelines, assumptions, and stakeholder inputs
Responsible for the treasury function, including cashflow planning and bank transactions, including management of the banking relationship
Process and manage biweekly payroll through Payworks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time submissions
Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting packages)
Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Partner with internal teams to ensure proper financial processes, documentation, and cost control
Identify process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance financial workflows tied to field operations, invoicing, and reconciliation of service-related transactions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
Progressive experience as an Accounting Manager or in a comparable leadership role
Analytical thinking with innovative problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, manage priorities, and improve processes
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
ServiceTitan knowledge is a significant asset, particularly for supporting billing accuracy, payroll, reporting, and integration with accounting workflows
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
