The Opportunity



We're seeking a hands-on and strategic

Accounting Manager

to own and elevate our entire accounting function. As our primary accounting professional, you'll be responsible for the integrity of our financial operations, guiding our bookkeeping team and partnering directly with leadership. This is a "jack-of-all-trades" opportunity for a self-starter who is as comfortable leading the month-end close as they are architecting new processes and driving strategic financial projects.

This high-visibility role is designed for a future finance leader. It offers a direct and accelerated path to a

Controller

or

Finance Director

role within 2-4 years, based on your performance and the company's expansion.

Key Responsibilities



Own and manage

the full-cycle accounting process, including the monthly and year-end close for all Canadian operations.

Ensure the accuracy

and timeliness of all financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

Lead the annual budgeting

and forecasting process, working with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.

Design, implement, and refine

internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

Serve as the subject matter expert

for our ERP (

Sage Intacct

or

NetSuite

), ensuring data integrity and optimizing its capabilities.

Lead the coordination

with external accountants and auditors for annual audits and strategic tax planning.

Provide in-depth financial analysis

and modeling to support key business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications



CPA designation

(or in the final stages) is strongly required.

3-5 years

of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience.

Deep proficiency

in an ERP system such as

Sage Intacct or NetSuite

is essential.

Strong, practical understanding

of Canadian ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).

Proven ability

to work autonomously, take ownership, and manage projects from start to finish. Experience developing and implementing financial controls from the ground up is a significant asset.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
