Context:

Systra Canada's finance team is looking for an enthusiastic intern to support them in their varied accounting activities and monthly closing, an exciting opportunity to learn and grow!
Missions/Main Duties:
Participate in monthly closing activities; Perform various accounting tasks; Perform analyses on balance sheet and income statement items; Assist with joint venture accounting; Assist with bank reconciliations; Support other accounting team members and internal stakeholders; Replace team members during vacations (Accounts Payable, General Accountant).

Profile/Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in administration or equivalent. CPA profile is an asset.

Technical skills:

Mastery of the Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Knowledge of the technical field of transportation (an asset) Knowledge of Power BI (an asset); Knowledge of Sage; Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in French and English
