Three Farmers Foods is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced

Accounting Coordinator

to manage accounts payable and support the Controller with day-to-day accounting functions. As a key member of our finance team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring smooth financial operations, accurate reporting, and strong communication between our Saskatoon facility and our remote finance leaders.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll:

Administer the full accounts payable cycle, reviewing, coding, and entering supplier invoices through each step of the procure-to-pay process. Match inventory invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts in Fishbowl, ensuring accuracy and consistency with quantities, pricing, and terms. Monitor the AP mailbox and supplier portals, manage approvals, and maintain vendor records and payments. Ensure accurate tax recording (HST, GST, PST) and support weekly payment scheduling and reconciliations. Handle non-PO invoices, expense claims, and company credit card transactions in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (QBE). Prepare weekly AP key performance reporting and assist with month-end reconciliations, tax filings, and year-end reviews. Serve as the on-site finance contact for the Saskatoon team, providing practical, front-line support and ensuring financial data reflects day-to-day operations. Identify when issues require escalation and promptly bring them forward to the Controller for resolution. Collaborate with the Office Manager on occasional administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You Bring

Minimum 5 years of experience in

Accounts Payable/Receivable or bookkeeping

. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Proven experience in manufacturing or similar industries, including use of POs and three-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice). Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, Fishbowl, and/or SPS is an asset. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data analysis). Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. A proactive mindset, strong critical thinking skills, and the confidence to recognize when to escalate complex issues. CPA studies in progress or interest in pursuing a CPA designation would be considered an asset.
