Responsibilities:

  • Create and send invoices and statements; track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Validate, enter, and process vendor invoices; prepare vendor payments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and vendor records in the ERP system
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with general bookkeeping duties
  • Prepare reports, including expense reports and basic financial summaries
  • Support payroll processing and government tax payments
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial preparations
  • Respond to client and vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Provide backup support for other accounting team members
  • Perform general office administration, filing, and reception coverage as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Diploma in Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical, administrative, or accounting-related roles
  • Previous experience in general accounting, invoicing, or payroll an asset
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with QuickBooks and 4Castplus is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
