We are looking for full-time, Accounting Coordinator seeking long-term employment.



- Accounting Coordinator

Process and record daily financial transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting. Verify that company procedures are followed when recording financial transactions. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized systems. Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances of all legal entities, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial reports. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports, maintain accurate financial records and reports other statistical, financial and accounting reports, as required. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and facilitating smooth accounting operations. Monitor the status and assist the Controller in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and ensure any bank errors are promptly corrected by the bank. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and forecasting plus monthly government remittances. Support the annual audit process and government audits by providing necessary documentation and data. Maintain compliance with all regulations by following established procedures & laws. Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and processing. Protect the health and safety of yourself and others by creating work orders to repair damaged equipment, and keeping common workstations and areas clean. Work as a team to overcome shift obstacles, exceed daily department targets and celebrate team successes. Promote Tempo's core values by working within all company policies and procedures. Other duties as required by the Controller or Executive Team.

Post secondary accounting education A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Dynamics or similar) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced knowledge of Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team Proactive attitude, with a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks, coupled with the ability to work effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems, and work with minimal supervision

Full-time / In-office

Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Location: 2237 Industrial Park Road Innisfil, ON L9S 3V9 Must be able to reliably commute to work - own transportation.
