Job Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of a dedicated team, handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties in addition to other clerical tasks. You will be primarily responsible for processing invoices and managing emails.Responsibilities:

• Accurately process high volume of invoices in busy department, working with a team

• Enter invoices in Oracle system

• Take responsibility for Accounts Receivable tasks including inputting billing information and preparing invoices

• Manage emails related to Accounts Receivable

• Utilize basic Excel skills for compiling a list of services utilized

• Perform filing and other clerical duties as required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation.
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing.
• Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in using Oracle or similar financial software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot accounting issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
