Job Description

An Accounting Clerk position is available through Robert Half, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Responsibilities
- Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
- Remedy discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
- Broadcast financial information to journals and ledgers
- Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a number of sources
- Organize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
- Help Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, process daily invoices/credit, and help with collection of past due balance
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired- Well-founded grasp of QuickBooks- Experience with Invoice Processing- Data entry experience- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience- Strong familiarity with billing- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended- 2+ years of relevant experienceRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
