We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our team in Toronto. In this role, you'll handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly.
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date.
- Handle data entry tasks to support financial reporting.
- Assist with billing and invoice distribution processes.
- Review and process vendor payments and expense reports.
- Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to manage financial data.
- Generate reports and summaries to support the accounting team and management.
- Organize and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
