Position: Accounting / Administration Clerk
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $45,000 annually
Are you a new graduate or early in your career and looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and administration? Our client, a well-established organization in the legal field, is seeking an Accounting / Administration Clerk to join their team. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Issue cheques from Trust and General accounts
- Process deposits, payments, disbursements, and wire transfers
- Assist with posting bills, write-offs, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accounting records and databases
- Support administrative functions such as training new employees, managing records, and handling postage
- Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines independently
- Team player, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Experience in a law firm or with Acumin software is an asset
